HTC Chacha Coming to the Philippines Via Smart

The HTC Chacha “Facebook phone” is coming to the Philippines through Smart Communications.  This is clear from recent ads from Smart announcing the arrival of the phone in the Philippines.

The HTC ChaCha is an Android touchscreen phone with QWERTY keypad and a dedicated Facebook button, hence, the moniker Facebook phone.   The Facebook button pulsates in bright blue whenever the phone thinks there is something worth sharing on Facebook. With the Chacha, you can update your status with one press, or attach photos, videos or links with one click.  The phone also has a Facebook chat widget means chatting through Facebook will be easier.  The ChaCha was sported a 600MHz processor at launch but recent reports indicate that it has been upgraded to 800MHz.

The ChaCha will be offered exclusively through Smart Communications and can enjoyed using the network’s data plans.  Check out the phone’s features below.
