The long wait is over.  The Asus Eee Pad Transformer tablet is scheduled for launch on July 23, 2011 and will be initially available in SM North EDSA, SM Mall of Asia, Gilmore Platinum, and SM Fairview.   The Eee Pad Transformer (tablet only) will go for Php22,995.  If you are opting for the tablet and dock configuration, it will set you back Php29,995.

I have had the Eee PC 1000HE for about a week now, and it has fulfilled my every expectation. Because I hadn’t started up the Eee without installing the 2 GB RAM I’d purchased, this review is relevant to those who plan to upgrade, or have already upgraded the RAM in the unit. For those who don’t, I will add that it is extremely easy and inexpensive to double the RAM of this netbook. I had never opened a laptop chassis before, and it took all of 5 minutes.;^`*

  2. since it doesn’t come with 3g support, can a smart bro or globe tatoo be connected to it to access the net?

I don’t quite see the relevance of this offering with the keyboard. Just the tablet, yes. But with the hardware keyboard? If it were running Windows 7, maybe – that allows use of real word processing software, and other real PC software.
