What makes these new handsets look like cheaper versions of the C5-03 are the downgraded features. Both Nokia C5-05 and C5-06 will have a 2-megapixel camera instead of the 5-megapixel camera of the C5-03. They will also not have 3G support.
Both the Nokia C5-05 and C5-06 will run on Symbian Series 60 and will have a 600 MHz processor, 128MB of RAM, 256 MB ROM, a resistive 3.2-inch touchscreen with 360×640 pixels resolution, Bluetooth 2.1, 3.5mm headphone jack and microUSB for charging.
The main difference between the C5-05 and the C5-06 is that the former does not have Wi-Fi connectivity. Prices of both devices are still unknown. Being cheaper versions of the C5-03, the Nokia C5-05 and C5-06 will cost less than P8,000 which is the price of the C5-03. These handsets are expected to be released this quarter.
