It is powered through a USB 2.0 interface allowing users to connect the My Passport for Mac drive to their MacBooks without the need for additional cables or power source.

My Passport Studio 500GB is priced at P5, 435, the 750 GB capacity at P6,279 and for the 1TB capacity at P7, 237. The WD My Passport Mac Edition 500GB retails for P3, 689, the 750 GB for P4,139 and the 1TB capacity for P5,266.
