DigitalHub is currently offering a free 30-day trial of Protect + upon purchase of a Macbook, Macbook Pro, Macbook Air, iMac, iMac Mini, iPad and iPod. The free trial is available within 7 days from date of purchase of the item.

Protect + is a form of insurance that offers protection on top of the AppleCare warranty.  It ensures that your new gadget is repaired or replaced conveniently since it covers theft and accidental damages.  Protect + is under Philfire Insurance, which will indemnify the insured against the cost of repair or the replacement of the product.  Note, however, that Philfire Insurance will only be liable to pay for a maximum of (2) Repairs during the period of Insurance.

Here’s the exact coverage of Protect +:

  • 12 Months Protection from Accidental Damage

– Standard Repairs and Unit Replacement

  • 12 Months Protection from Theft

Apple Protect + has flexible terms when it comes to duration of coverage and payment of premiums. It is available to the buyer within 14 days from date of purchase.

To activate Protect + for your Apple gadget, follow these steps:

  • Upon purchasing an Apple product from DigitalHub, ask for assistance from the sales representative to register for the 30-day free trial of the Protect +.
  • Visit the PhilFire website at http://www.philfire.com.ph
  • Click on the Products and choose “Protect+”
  • Create your own account by supplying your personal information and details of your purchase. (Purchase of Protect + should be within 7 days of purchase)
  • Successful Registration will be confirmed by means of an email verification of your purchase details.
  • For 6 and 12 months coverage, the insurance policy will be delivered to the preferred addresses of the insured
