LG Prada 3.0 Android Phone Launched

LG and Prada has extended their mobile phone partnership with the announcement of the new LG Prada 3.0 smartphone.   This is the third device that came out of the partnership, the first two being the LG Prada and the LG Prada II handsets.

The LG Prada 3.0 is again more of a design collaboration between the two companies, with Prada possibly providing just the design direction and LG taking charge with the smartphone technology.   The two companies say the LG Prada 3.0 represents a key design venture for them.

The LG Prada 3.0 is sleek and stylish, I honestly want to own one.  Its clean lines and premium finish make this LG phone worthy of the Prada name.   Enhancing the premium look are the full glossy touchscreen on the front and PRADA’s signature Saffiano pattern at the back.  The handset is thin at only 8.5mm and this thinness is enhanced by what LG calls the Floating Mass Technology.

On the hardware front, the LG Prada 3.0 is also quite impressive. The phone is powered by a 1GHz Dual-Core processor with Dual-Channel architecture that promises a high-speed performance. It also features a 800-nit, 4.3-inch NOVA High Brightness Display, an 8MP camera and dual-band Wi-Fi.   For storage, the LG Prada 3.0 has 8GB of memory.

This Prada phone’s OS of choice is Android 2.3 Gingerbread, with a future upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich.  The UI of the handset features unique black, grey and white menu and icons that matches the design.
