Bourne Legacy to Shoot in the Philippines, Now Trending on Twitter

 

Bourne Legacy is now trending on twitter after the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) confirmed that the shooting of the film will be done in some areas in Metro Manila.  Edward Norton, one of the film’s cast, is said to be in the country now.  Needless to say, he is also trending on twitter.

According to MMDA Chariman Francis Tolentino, the areas where scenes for the movie will be shot include Intramuros, Navotas Fishport, Ramon Magsaysay Blvd., Ayala Avenue, Nagtahan, Pasay Taft, Jones Bridge, Marikina City Market and San Andres Market.  The notice was issued possibly to warn the public that these areas will be closed when the shooting starts.  It’s been reported that the MMDA will issue further announcements as to the exact schedule of shooting.  The movie will also shoot scenes in El Nido, Palawan according to reports.

If you’re thinking about seeing Matt Damon at the shooting, don’t get your hopes up.  The fourth installment of the Bourne series will be starred in by Jeremy Renner, the guy in Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol and Hurt Locker, and who will also appear in The Avengers.

Jeremy Renner will be playing a new character, CIA operative Aaron Cross.  Matt Damon carried the series well but looking a the resume of Jeremy Renner, he should do also well as the film’s main actor.
