Viber is one of my favorite apps on iOS and Android. As long as you have internet connection, the app allows you to send messages and make calls to other Viber-enabled handsets. The app started on iOS, jumped to Android and very recently it was made available to BlackBerry and Windows Phone handsets.
Now Viber is already available for download on Nokia’s S40 and Symbian platfroms, as well as Samsung’s Bada platform. Viber acknowledges that there are more than 1.5 billion phones using the Nokia S40 platform have been sold since the platform was first released. Viber has thought it wise to tap these users, and who wouldn’t. Viber has 100 million users now, and with the availability on S40, Symbian and Bada, this number will surely increase in no time. The version on these platforms only does messaging but I’m pretty sure the calling feature will be added in the future.
Another update the Viber is the addition of voice calling to Windows Phone version. Viber now offers Nokia Windows Phone 7 users free HD-quality phone calls and group messaging in addition to free text and photo messages. Viber says this version was developed in partnership with Nokia and is currently available exclusively on Nokia Lumia phones.
The iPhone version of Viber now contains localization to Arabic, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Hebrew and Portuguese.

I have the N8 too…it’s so stupid to not include some features while it is available in other platforms. Why the two-standards?
just downloaded viber on N8. no voice call, no video call features. just sms. lame.
