Specs Comparison: iPhone 5 vs. Samsung Galaxy S III vs. Nokia Lumia 920

The dust has settled. We now know how the iPhone 5 looks and what features it offers.  Some may have been underwhelmed by the iPhone 5 but some see it as the best smartphone to have ever been created.  The king of the Android platform is undoubtedly the Samsung Galaxy S III, and more than a few say it is the best smartphone right now, not the iPhone 5.   The debate between Apple fans and Android fans will continue to rage on for the next few months but people will still never really agree as to which phone is the best.

For now, what we can do is compare the specs and think about what these phones can offer.  In case you have forgotten, the other new smartphone in the block is the Nokia Lumia 920.  It is the best phone in the Windows Phone ecosystem and it’s nice to see how it stacks up against the best of the iOS and Android platforms.

Here now is the specs comparison between the iPhone 5, the Samsung Galaxy S III and the Nokia Lumia 920.

There is no clear winner in this comparison since each smartphone has something better to offer.  The iPhone 5, for example, is the lightest at only 122g, bu the Samsung Galaxy S III has the most to offer with NFC feature, microSD expansion, removable battery, not to mention it has the largest screen in the bunch.  The Nokia Lumia 920, on the other hand, has the best pixel density at 336ppi, higher than the iPhone 5’s 326ppi Retina display and it also offers NFC which the iPhone 5 lacks.  In terms of specs, therefore, the Samsung Galaxy S III is slightly ahead of the rest.   Now all you need to think about is the operating system and the ecosystem.
