Western Digital Launches My Book Thunderbolt Duo 8 TB

 

Just how much storage do you need? With the advent of high speed internet, downloading of digital content from the internet has been common and prevalent, hence, the need for a huge storage media.  One and two terabyte hard drives seem to be insufficient nowadays.  The new generation clearly needs more.

If you need a lower capacity hard drive, Western Digital also offers the new WD My Book 4 TB.  This one is thankfully optimized for PC users.  The WD My Book 4 TB works well with USB 3.0, giving PC users the ability to backup computer files really fast, though it is also compatible with PCs and notebook computers that use USB 2.0.

WD My Book is also available in 1 TB, 2 TB and 3 TB variants.  These are all designed for PC users to provide sufficient storage to backup digital files and will be out-of-the-box compatible with the new Windows 8 operating system.
