Nokia just added another Lumia to its line-up. This time around, however, it’s not Windows Phone 8 running the phone but Windows Phone 7.5 Mango, though it is expected that the phone will get a Windows Phone 7.8 in the future.
The 4-inch Lumia 510 is the cheapest Lumia to date. The specs of the phone, as expected, are just right for a budget phone. The Lumia 510 is powered by an 800MHz Snapdragon S1 processor paired with a measly 256MB of RAM and a non-expandable 4GB of internal storage. There’s a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera and no front-facing shooter. Pretty basic, actually, but if you want to experience Windows Phone OS and the Live Tiles and People Hub features, this is the cheapest way to do it.
In terms of design, the Nokia Lumia 510 is quite stylish and is being offered in five colours: red, yellow, cyan, white and black. The phone comes with a 7GB free Microsoft SkyDrive account, which in effect, expands the limited 4GB storage capacity of the phone.
The Nokia Lumia 510 will be available in the Philippines starting November for a price of approximately $199 (about P8,500). Watch this video if you want know more about the Lumia 510.
