10-inch Bitbotz S1001 Tablet Launched; Quad-Core CPU, 2GB RAM for Only P9,999

Bitbotz.  It sounds new because it’s new. Bitbotz a new name in the local tablet scene but it’s certainly not the least in terms of specs and features. In fact, it’s quite the opposite.  The first model to carry the Bitbotz name is the Bitbotz S1001 tablet.  It’s a 10-inch Android Ice Cream Sandwich tablet that has all the makings of a high end, top of the line product but instead of carrying a hefty price tag, it retails for a very surprisingly low price of P9,999.

Just to give you an idea how good a deal this tablet is, consider these main specs – 10.1-inch IPS display with 1280×800 resolution, quad-core Samsung Exynos 4412 processor, 2GB DDR3 RAM, 16GB internal storage expandable via microSD slot and 8000mAh battery.   All these hardware goodness are wrapped in a sleek and slim body.  The tablet even offers several connectivity options including micro USB OTG, mini HDMI, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

Watch out for my full hands-on review of the Bitbotz S1001.

  1. Hi! Just wanted to know, does this have GPS?

And I think one downside is the bluetooth version is outdated. This is forgivable though.
