Cherry Mobile Hyper is the more Affordable Titan

Cherry Mobile is at it again. By now we should all know that the local phone brand will be pushing more Android handsets on a pace faster than that of any other Philippine company.  The newest model to have been revealed to the public is the Cherry Mobile Hyper.  It’s an Android phone that resembles the Cherry Mobile Titan in most respects. You can therefore call the Hyper the more affordable Titan considering its more affordable P4,999 price tag.  In case you forgot, the Titan retailed for P6,499 when it first came out in the market.  With practically the same specs, the Hyper will therefore fulfil your Android dreams, that is, if you’re looking for one with a huge screen.

The Cherry Mobile Hyper features a 5-inch display, a 1.2GHz a dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB internal storage expandable via microSD, 5-megapixel rear camera, VGA front camera and 2,000mAh battery.  Please note that the 5-inch display only has 800×480 resolution so at this size, you will almost see individual pixels, but if it’s not an issue, go ahead and check out the Hyper.

  1. @mplm77 it seems like that the inaccurate touch detections may be a factory defect. just take it to the cherry mobile service center for check up.

    • A Flare with improved battery and larger screen estate, but not of the IPS type. I hope it doesnt have a buggy OS implementation and tricky touch screen issues like the original Flare. The original Flare always lits up every now and then which unnecessarily drains its low capacity battery, and it is a pain to type text messages. Plus makes gaming difficult due to inaccurate touch detections on the screen.
