Starmobile Knight, the Android Phone that Looks Like an iPhone 5

If you like the design of the iPhone 5, wished it was bigger and ran Android, look no farther.  The Starmobile Knight is exactly all of these things.  It looks eerily like the iPhone 5, it has a huge 4.7-inch display and it runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

Starmobile has a sure winner in the Knight, and it does not hurt that it packs impressive features as well.  The 4.-7-inch display, for instance, is an HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla glass reinforcement.  This means that the display is sharp, it has good viewing angles and it’s tough.  The Starmobile Knight also a quad-core device, with a CPU that clocks in at 1.2GHz.

The other impressive hardware details pertain to the front and rear cameras.  The Starmobile Knight packs an 18-megapixel rear-facing camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.  These cameras use BSI sensors and both have auto-focus features.  The camera on the Icon is BSI type, where BSI stands for back-illuminated sensor, a sensor type that captures more light compared to other types of sensor.

All in all, the Starmobile Knight is one impressive handset that packs a real punch.  If build quality is good, this can really attract a horde of buyers.  Starmobile, is relatively new in the local mobile scene but it looks like it can bring real competition to the more established brands like Cherry Mobile and Torque.  Starmobile also unveiled the Icon and Jump handsets and new Android devices under the Diamond and Engage series.
