We know that Samsung is capable of coming up with weird products. They seem weird at first, like the “phablets”, but some become hits nonetheless. So if there’s a rumor that Samsung will be unveiling a camera phone in the true sense of the concept, then we ought to believe it’s true.
SamMobile and TechStatic have tipped recently that Samsung will be unveiling a product called Galaxy S4 Zoom this coming June 20 in London. The product appears to be a combination of the Galaxy S4 mini with a zoom camera attached to the back. It’s a weird design but there are people who might actually like it. Not me though.
The rumored Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom camera phone will feature a 4.3-inch qHD sAMOLED display and run on a 1.6GHz dual-core processor. It will have an 8GB internal storage with microSD slit that can handle up to 64GB of extra storage. For connectivity options, it will have Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, and A-GPS.
As to camera features, the Galaxy S4 Zoom is rumored to pack a 16GB sensor with optical zoom and there will be dedicated shutter and zoom buttons on the device. We should expect software features that will make the Galaxy S4 Zoom attractive to photography enthusiasts.
The Galaxy S4 Zoom will run on Android 4.2.2 jelly bean with Touch-Wiz Nature UX interface on top.
