City Delivery Adds ASERCO in its Roster of Partners

You’ve probably heard of City Delivery but if you haven’t, it’s a delivery service in the Philippines that started with delivering food from Manila’s premium restaurants.   If you wanted food from a restaurant delivered and that restaurant didn’t have its own delivery service, City Delivery is there to help you get that food in your doorstep.  That service expanded to other goods such as flowers, medicines and groceries after City Delivery partnered up with home-based merchants.

Consistent with City Delivery’s vision to be a one-stop delivery service, it has added ASERCO to its roster of partners.  ASERCO is Affiliated Electronics Service Corporation the authorized service center of big appliance centers in the Philippines such as Abenson, Electroworld and WalterMart.  ASERCO has an army of trained technicians that repair and service major home appliance brands like Canon, Epson, Panasonic, Acer, Samsung, BenQ and Sharp.  Items for repair and check-up can be cameras, printers, fax machines, laptops, LCD projectors, LCD monitors, computers and others.

With the partnership, City Delivery is now the logistics arm of ASERCO.  What this means is City Delivery can pickup and deliver any appliance or gadget that you want repaired.  The pickup and delivery will be for a fee as that’s how City Delivery works.

How does the process look like exactly?  Here’s what happens.

  1. You either call City Delivery or ASERCO at these phone numbers — ASERCO: 647-5357, 682-7679 or 646-6190; City Delivery: 87878
  2. City Delivery will pick it up and you will be charged per distance and depending on size of the item
  3. City Delivery calls you about the status and charges
  4. City Delivery will deliver the fixed item to you
  5. You pay through City Delivery when they deliver

The service can also be availed two-way or one-way, that is, it can be pickup only or deliver only.  For fees, City Delivery charges P150 for first 5 kilometers if they use motorcycle, and P375 for first 5 kilometers if they use a van.

Here are the branches of ASERCO if you are wondering where they are located.  They have branches in Pasig, Makati, Mandaluyong, Manila, Muntinlupa, Quezon City and Laguna.
