Lenovo Vibe X Sports 5-inch Display and 6.9mm Frame

Lenovo just unveiled its next flagship Android phone called the Vibe X.  The handset marries top specs with ultra slim body, making it one of the thinnest smartphones around.

The Lenovo Vibe X sports a 5-inch 1920 x 1080p full HD IPS panel and comes in at a very thin 6.9mm.  Current flagships have full HD display so the fact the Vibe X also has full HD is nothing to be surprised about.  The 6.9mm thickness is however an impressive feat.  It’s also very light, weighing only 120 grams.  The Vibe X’s display is reinforced by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Inside the Lenovo Vibe X is a MediaTek 1.5 GHz quad-core 6589T processor and 2GB of RAM.  For storage duties, the Lenovo Vice X provides 16GB worth of memory.  It also has a 13 megapixel rear camera, and a 5 megapixel front camera with a 84 degree viewing angle.  The Lenovo Vibe X will run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean at launch.

The Lenovo Vibe X will first hit be available in China in October, and will be available in other countries, hopefully including the Philippines, in December.  No official details on pricing have been revealed yet but this should be priced not higher than Php25,000 at launch.
