Logitech Announces iPad Air Keyboards and Cases

Logitech recently announced new Ultrathin cases, covers and keyboard folios for the new iPad Air.  If you’re planning on buying Apple’s newest 9.7-inch tablet, it’s good if you know the available accessories as early as now.  The iPad Air, just like the iPhone 5s or other Apple products for that matter, need protective cases as they are easily scratched or damaged.

The new offerings from Logitech include the Logitech FabricSkin Keyboard Folio, Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover, Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Folio and Logitech Folio Protective Case.  If you currently own a Logitech accessory for previous iPad models, you’ll notice that the design has been mostly retained.

The Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Folio ($99) has a built-in Bluetooth keyboard and offers protection on either side.  It can be used at multiple viewing angles and has Logitech’s SecureLock.  For battery life, the Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Folio lasts and up to three months and charges over USB.

The Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover ($99), on the other hand has an aluminum finish and can be sued as a dock for the iPad Air.  It can also act as a stand when you are using the keyboard.  If you are not using your iPad Air, you can also attach it to the tablet through magnetic connection and can therefore function as protection for the tablet’s screen.

The Logitech Folio Protective Case ($49.99) is just a case and does not have a keyboard function.  It however functions as a stand that can hold the iPad Air at multiple angles.

The Logitech FabricSkin Keyboard Folio ($149), on the other hand, is a Bluetooth keyboard with water-repellant full-size keys.  This iPad Air case can hold the tablet at two different angles and offers protection for both sides.  It lasts up to 3 months on a single charge and can also charge via micro-USB.
