Google has a facility for searching for persons affected by typhoon Yolanda or Haiyan.  The facility is through google.org/personfinder and the link now has a specific search assistance for those affected by Yolanda.  The website can be used to search for persons and also to report information about persons.

    paki hanap lang po sa kapatid ko na si nona araya kasi noong saturday ng maaga ppunta siya sa matnug at sumakay ng bus patungong samar na plot kasi ang gulong ng bus at may mga uniformado na ngpunta sa kanila kinuha ang mga dala nila na dadalhin sana niya sa mama namin patungong taft eastern samar
