HTC Desire 700 and Desire 501 Announced

HTC may be bleeding cash but it’s still alive and kicking.  The Taiwanese manufacturer recently announced new Android handsets, the HTC Desire 700 and the HTC Desire 501.  The Desire 700 is the more attractive of the two, featuring a design inspired by the HTC One.  The Desire 501 reminds me of the older Desire phones from HTC, which means it is not that good-looking.

The HTC Desire 700 and the HTC Desire 501 are both mid-range phones.  The HTC Desire is the bigger and better handset, pacing a 5-inch qHD display with BoomSound speakers on the top and bottom, the same way they are position in the HTC One.  For performance, the HTC Desire 700 gets the services of a quad-core Snapdragon chip and 1GB RAM while storage chops is courtesy of an 8GB internal storage.  Battery, on the other hand is at 2,100mAh. If you use two SIM cards, this may be perfect for you as it has dual-SIM functionality.

The HTC Desire 501, on the other hand, packs a 4.3-inch WVGA screen and runs on a 1.5GHz dual-core processor.
