The successor to the hot-selling Samsung Galaxy S Duos has been outed in India where the original was popular. The Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 (GT-S7582) has been listed in Samsung’s Indian website and priced at 10,999 Indian rupees, or about US$175, or roughly Php7,525 in Philippine peso. That’s not cheap considering its mediocre specs and considering the options available in this price range. A mid-range Nokia Lumia or the highly praised Moto G from Motorola are way better options.
In any case, if you’re still interested in the Samsung Galaxy Duos 2, the main specs include a 4-inch, 800 x 480 screen, a 1.2GHz processor, 768MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, microSD storage expansion up to 64GB, 1,500mAh battery, 5-megapixel rear camera, VGA font camera, and dual-SIM functionality. The phone runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
