SKK Mobile Mirage S1, the HTC One Copy Priced at P3,999

SKK Mobile is turning out to be one of the new local brands that has what it takes to succeed just like other established names like Cherry Mobile and MyPhone.  I was able to review the SKK Mobile Platinum in the past, and I was rather impressed with the device.  Now there is a new device to get impressed by.  It’s the SKK Mobile Mirage S1.

The SKK Mobile Mirage S1 looks like the HTC One.  The design is a dead ringer for HTC’s hit Android phone and it’s surprising that SKK Mobile is selling the Mirage S1 for only P3,999.  The specs are rather good for this price.  Consider getting a 5-inch display, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, a 5-megapixel rear camera, dual-SIM functionality and connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G and GPS.  Some specs are expectedly compromised to get to the P3,999 price like the 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage.  Thankfully, there is a microSD slot for storage expansion.

Here are the main specs of the SKK Mobile Mirage S1

SKK Mobile Mirage S1 Specs and Price

  • 5-inch display
  • 1.2GHz dual-core processor
  • 512MB RAM
  • 4GB internal storage
  • 5-megapixel rear camera

  • Wi-Fi
  • Bluetooth
  • 3G
  • GPS

My initial impressions of the SKK Mobile Mirage S1 are good.  I will post a full hands-on review soon so do watch out for that.

Bought the red one. not bad. love that it had mali 400 GPU. camera and flash is mediocre though

  2. I mean micro sim. Shoulda turned off the keyboard app’s auto spell correction.

  3. Oh, and I forgot to write that the other sim slot only fits a micro similar so I cut my other sim to put it in. Again, the unit’s a dual similar, dual standby, and both slots are 3g capable.

  4. What I mean is that the SKK Mirage S1 is more on the slimmer side than the Torque Droidz Avatar TV. Sorry about my mix-up.
