Viber for Android updated to 4.2

Viber users rejoice as the messaging/VoIP app has recently released an update. The new version adds the option to block any number or contact. No more unwanted messages or calls from people you don’t like.

Besides the ability to block any number or contact, the update also includes the following:

  • Send up to 10 photos at the same time
  • Customize your message and call sounds
  • New media gallery (photo and video) within conversations
  • Improvements and fixes

Viber for Android is now available for download via the Google Play Store. With Viber, you can text, call, and send photo and video messages worldwide over Wifi or 3G. The app is free with no ads, and is compatible with most devices running Android 2.2 and up.
