Is Samsung working on new budget phone?

According to Sam Mobile, Samsung may be working on yet another budget phone. The phone with model number SM-G350E was recently shipped to India for testing. It is said to have a 4.3 inch screen, and will run Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. It will also have dual sim support, and comes with a 1.2GHz dual core processor, 8GB of storage, 1GB of RAM, a 5MP rear cam and a VGA front cam.

With a rumored price of only $103 (roughly P4,500), Samsung looks to position the SM-G350E against Motorola’s recently introduced Moto E. The Moto E received quite an overwhelming response in India, which maybe the reason why the Korean phone maker released their budget phone.

If the Samsung budget phone comes to light (and released here), then this looks to be a very competent option. It could compete with (and undercut) local phones and new entrants like Xiaomi.
