Faster is Better: Lenovo Introduces 2 New LTE Smartphones

If you’re looking for affordable LTE smartphones, then Lenovo may have something for you. The Taiwanese manufacturer recently introduced 2 new members for its LTE smartphone line up to the country, namely the Lenovo A606 and the Lenovo S856.

The Lenovo A606 is the more affordable of the two at P9,499. It features a 5 inch screen, 1.3GHz quad core CPU, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. An 8MP main camera, a 2MP front camera and a 2,000mAh battery round out the rest of the specs.

The Lenovo S856, on the other hand, is the more premium of the two. For P13,999, you will get a large 5.5 inch display backed up by 1.2GHz quad core Snapdragon 400 CPU and 1GB of RAM. You also get 8GB of storage, dual SIM capability, and a 2,500mAh battery.

Both smartphones are powered by Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

One of the bigger phones in the market, boasting a 5.5-inch HD display, the Lenovo S856 totters the ground between smartphone and phablet. Under the hood are some pretty competitive specs, including the 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 chip that gives a smooth run, especially when combined with the Android Kitkat 4.4.2 OS that’s installed in the device out of the box.

The Lenovo S856 also boasts a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor, dual-SIM capability, Lenovo’s Do It Apps, a 2500mAh battery and expandable 8GB of internal storage. For those who love to snap up some photos, the Lenovo S856 also has an 8-megapixelrear camera with LED flash and a 1.6-megapixel front camera.
