Last November 2014, Nokia announced its return to mobile devices with the introduction of the N1 tablet. It featured Android 5.0 Lollipop, Nokia’s own Z launcher, great design and impressive specs. Fast forward to a few days ago, January 8, 2015, the device went on sale in China. It took just four minutes for the Finnish company to sell its initial stock of 20,000 units. Not bad for a return.
I’m not surprised the N1 sold out though. The tablet looks great and the hardware is as what’s expected from a company like Nokia. Granted it’s heavily inspired by the iPad Mini, but make no mistake its a very serious Android device.
The next sale in China will be on January 15. I have a feeling it will be another success. I only hope it reaches our shores soon.
