Samsung teases curved screen design. Could this be the Galaxy S Edge?

Samsung has started sending out invites for its Galaxy Unpacked 2015 event on March 1 at the Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona, Spain. The Korean tech giant is expected to unveil their latest flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S6, at the event.

Judging by the image below, it looks like a variant of the phone will feature a curved display. If you recall, the curved display was introduced with the Samsung Galaxy Edge. The smartphone garnered mixed reactions when it was launched. It looks like the reactions were mostly positive, though, as the company now adds the curved display to their latest and greatest.

If the reports about Samsung ditching Qualcomm due to overheating issues are true, then we might see the flagship being powered by their own octa-core Exynos 7420 CPU, to go with 3GB of RAM. It is also expected to have the metallic frame design (ala Alpha), and could also feature a 5 inch quad HD Super AMOLED curved display, with curves on both edges of the screen. The powerful specs, along with a reported toned down TouchWiz, should make the phone lag free and super smooth.

So far, no other information about the specs are available at the moment.
