Smart offers new Big Bytes volume data packages

Smart Communications has introduced another awesome promo. Named Big Bytes, the newly minted offering features volume-based mobile internet and broadband packages bundled with free access to YouTube, SkypeQik and SPINNR.

Available to Smart prepaid and postpaid subscribers, the Big Bytes data package offerings are actually pretty good. The telco gives substantial data allocation you can use to post updates to Facebook and Instagram, check email and search Google.

“Over the years we’ve seen our subscribers’ data appetites grow exponentially, along with the growth of popular online and mobile services. True to our promise of bringing the Internet for all our subscribers’ needs, we have designed the new Big Bytes data packages to provide more than enough volume allowance for all their online activities” said Michele Curran, FVP for Data Services at Smart.

The Internet package for all your needs

When I saw the promo, I gave it a try. I subscribed to the Big 299 package. For only PHP299, I got 1.7GB of data with the following free extras: 1GB music streaming from SPINNR, 1ooMB for YouTube and SkypeQik . Not bad, considering the last package I tried for my plan gave me 750MB of data for the same price. Big 299 is good for 30 days.

I think the packages are pretty good. Have a look for yourself.

You can get any of the Big Bytes packages starting at P5 for a one-day 5MB access, up to P799 for 30-day 4.5GB access. To subscribe, text BIG<space>PACKAGE DENOMINATION (ex. BIG 299) and send to 9999. You can also subscribe to a package through the Smart Bro Dashboard.

The new Smart Big Bytes packages are available to all Smart prepaid, postpaid, and broadband subscribers nationwide until May 15, 2015. For more information on these new offers, please visit smart.com.ph/bigbytes.

worst! 799 plan and its 4.5GB is not renewable every day… once consumed you cannot connect to the internet… mas ok pa ang SurfMaxx 995… very poor marketing! and to think na ang sinasabi nila na validity is 30days!
