You should give iflix a go

Since the launch, I have always been a fan of iflix. For those who are not familiar, it is a streaming video service similar to NetFlix. It has a lot of content, a good mix of new and old movies and TV series.

Good Old iflix

iflix has changed the way I watch movies and videos. I used to download what I wanted to watch. Now, I just fire up iflix and stream the content on my laptop or Android phone. For a small subscription fee, you can enjoy a good mix of videos, from old to new, action, drama, comedy and even some anime titles. It has something for everyone.

Streaming is fast and quality is good. My internet connection at home is not that fast, but I never had any problems with quality or speed. They said it has something to do with the videos being hosted locally.

One of the most important benefits I got from iflix is that it calms my bunso (youngest child) whenever we’re out. The service has a lot of cartoons and animation to keep him preoccupied while travelling or dining. Trust me, it’s a Godsend.

It Needs a Connection

iflix is a streaming service, so it needs data or internet connection to work. As a long time Smart subscriber, I use Big Bytes 299. The add-on gives me an additional 1.7 GB of open access data, 1 GB music streaming from Spinnr, 100 MB YouTube/Skype Qik, PLUS free 1 GB for iflix along with a free one month subscription.

There’s an App for that

The iflix app is available on the Google Playstore and the Apple Appstore. You could also enjoy it on a computer (through a browser). For Smart and PLDT subscribers, subscription is only PHP99 a month. For everyone else, subscription is at PHP129 a month. For more information, you may visit play.iflix.com/.
