The ROG Strix X99 Gaming is the first motherboard under the ROG Strix series. Made for gaming, the motherboard uses SupremeFX, Sonic Radar II, Intel Ethernet, and GameFirst technologies. And lastly, the new GameFirst IV optimizes network traffic for faster, lag-free online gaming.

For fast data transfers, the ROG Strix X99 comes with onboard U.2, USB 3.1 Type-A and C, M.2, 2×2 Wi-Fi with MU-MIMO. It also has an intelligent RAMCache technology that caches an entire storage device to quickly launch a favourite game or app.

The board also supports ThunderboltEX 3, an Intel-certified Thunderbolt 3 card that enables bi-directional speeds up to 40GBps and supports daisy-chaining up to six displays. It has a reversible USB Type-C connector and also supports the USB Power Delivery specification for fast charging of up to 36W.

The ASUS ROG Strix X99 Gaming motherboard will be available on July 2016 with an SRP of P19,160.
