What an an achievement! Since the OPPO F1s debuted in Philippine stores last August 19, the Chinese manufacturer was able to sell over 19,000 units come August 21. That’s a lot of phones in just 3 days!
“We never expected that consumers would be this enthusiastic about the F1s. It’s overwhelming to know that our first units sold out in three days. We are excited to deliver more F1s units to stores, especially because we want more people to have the ultimate selfie experience,” said Stephen Cheng, OPPO Marketing Brand Manager.
The achievement, however, is not really a surprise. OPPO is currently sitting at number 3 in terms of marketshare in the Philippines according to German research firm Gfk. Cheng attributes the growth to OPPO’s commitment to provide high-quality phones at reasonable prices.
OPPO F1s “Selfie Expert”
The OPPO F1s is a 5.5-inch smartphone that features a 16MP front camera. Dubbed a “selfie expert,” the smartphone packs a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek processor, 3GB of RAM and a Mali-T860MP2 graphics chip. It has a generous 32GB storage with microSD card support and a large 3,075mAh battery.
The OPPO F1s is available at zero percent interest for six months courtesy of financial service provider Home Credit. The smartphone comes in Rose Gold, Gold and Gray, with an SRP of P12,990.
