The Cherry Mobile X2 features a glass-metal-glass build, opting to use Dragontrail glass for both panels. Under the hood is a 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and an Adreno 505 graphics chip. Storage is quite generous at 32GB with an option to expand via a microSD card slot. The main camera uses a 16MP BSI sensor with LED flash, while the front uses 8MP.
Like most smartphones today, the Cherry Mobile X2 is also equipped with fingerprint sensor. It is placed at the back, beneath the camera lens. And unlike its other Flare siblings, this one comes with a standard microUSB port. Powering the device is a Android Marshmallow 6.0. Battery capacity is a now-standard 3,000 mAh.
The Cherry Mobile Flare X2 retails for P7,999. Looking at the design and the specs, this smartphone looks to repeat the success of its predecessor.
