Hot on the heels of OPPO F1s’ success, OPPO teases another #SelfieExpert smartphone AND a new face representing the brand.

It been roughly two months since the three-day sell-out OPPO F1s was introduced to the market. The uber successful smartphone balances the line between performance, specs and price. This time, OPPO is continuing its successful run in the country with another addition to the #SelfieExpert line.

OPPO R9s and R9s Plus
The new #SelfieExpert could be the newly minted OPPO R9s and R9s Plus. Announced this month in Shanghai, China, the new announcement fits the bill.
OPPO R9s
The OPPO R9s features a 5.5-inch full HD display, protected by a curved 2.5D Gorilla Glass 5. Under the hood beats a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor paired with an Adreno 506 graphics chip and 4GB of RAM. Both front and back cameras of the R9s uses 16MP sensors. The front camera has a wide f/1.7 apertures, an electronic image stabilization and an LED flash. While the selfie camera has an f/2.0 lens.

The rest of the specs include a fingerprint scanner and a 3,010 mAh battery with VOOC fast charging.

The OPPO R9s Plus has a larger 6-inch 1080p display, optical image stabilization, and a newer Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor paired with 6GB of RAM. It has a generous 64GB of storage, expandable via hydrid SIM slot and a large 4,000 mAh battery with VOOC. The rest of the specs are the same as the OPPO R9s.

While it remains to be seen which smartphone will be unveiled, we’re more or less confident that at least one of these is it.
