WD Announces New WD Pro Series

Western Digital, aka WD, recently announced the new WD Pro Series: My Passport Wireless Pro Wi-Fi mobile storage and My Cloud Pro series network attached storage.

WD Pro Series

The latest WD Pro series feature portability, reliability, ample capacity, and speed. It is designed to fit seamlessly into its user’s workflow for fast storage, transfer, back-up, editing and streaming.

My Passport Wireless Pro

The My Passport Wireless Pro Wi-Fi mobile storage uses direct Wi-Fi connection to automatically back-up files and connect up to eight compatible devices. Available in up to 3TB capacities, the device includes a built-in SD card reader as well as a USB 2.0 port. Users can also connect via direct tether for faster transfer rates.

WD Pro

The mobile storage has a rated battery life of up to 10 hours and comes with a built-in battery pack that can charge mobile phones, digital cameras and more.

My Cloud Pro Series NAS

The My Cloud Pro Series Network Attached Storage (NAS) offers up to 32TB of storage, allowing a one-touch backup solution for cameras, memory card readers and other USB storage devices. It boasts powerful transcoding capabilities allowing the NAS to ingest, edit, store and stream content in various formats including 4K video.

Availability

The My Passport Wireless Pro Wi-Fi mobile storage and the My Cloud Pro Series NAS devices are now available with EA Global Supply Chain Solutions Incorporated. Both offer a 2-year limited warranty.
