Online shopping site Lazada sold over 100,000 items in just 9 hours in the 2016 Online Revolution sale last November 11, 2016.

Truth be told, I’m always browsing the Lazada mobile app looking for good deals. Sometimes I buy something, but most of the time I just window shop. Last November 11 was different. I was on the app again. This time, most of the items I had my eye on were on sale. As luck would have it, I ended up buying 75% of the things I was looking for at a fraction of their original price.

Lazada 2016 Online Revolution Record Sale

Congratulations are in order. Online shopping site Lazada managed to record over 100,000 items sold in just 9 hours, starting at 12 midnight. Deals and discounts of up to 95% were offered by a wide variety of brands and sellers.

Lazada’s Online Revolution excitement started much earlier this year. We’ve had an exciting and long night, with crowds of late-night owls turning into early-bird shoppers snapping up the best deals from Samsung, L’Oreal, P&G, BUM, Starmobile, Mamy Poko, among many others. Watch out for more deals coming later today and in the next 4 weeks for your Christmas shopping,” said Inanc Balci, Lazada.com CEO.

The Online Revolution sale continues until December 12. During the weeks leading up to 12.12, a weekly curated selection of products for beauty fans, supermoms and families, techies and fashionistas will be offered to clients.

Lazada will also kick off the Christmas shopping season with a chance to win an Isuzu D-Max and Turkish Airlines international roundtrip tickets every time you shop. You may visit www.lazada.com for more details.
