Jelly is the world’s smallest 4G android smartphone

Is there room for small smartphones in the world of big-screened smartphones? That’s what Chinese company UniHertz wants to find out with Jelly, the world’s smallest 4G Android smartphone.

Shanghai-based mobile phone maker UniHertz has started a project on Kickstarter announcing Jelly, an Android smartphone measuring in at 3.6 by 1.7 inches. The diminutive device features a 2.45 inch TFT LCD display, 2GB RAM and 8GB/16GB storage. It is powered by a quad-core 1.1GHz processor and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.

The Jelly also supports dual SIM cards and is equipped with a micro SD card slot up to 256GB. It has an 8MP main camera and a 2MP front camera.

If you want to support the Jelly smartphone, you can log on to Kickstarter and back their project. As of writing, UniHertz already has pledges of over USD865,736 and over 8,134 backers. Their target was just USD30,000. Time to pledge if you want one because it will end on June 6, 2017.

The Jelly’s suggested introductory price is USD59. Take note that the price is not final and it could change when it eventually launches.
