Smart quietly launches LTE Prime, a new data package that features up to 3GB of data for Smart subscribers.

Smart has been giving us a lot of data options for various needs. A few days ago, they unveiled the Smart Bro LTE Home W-Fi for those who areas who have no wired connection. Now, they are introducing an affordable, high volume data package for those who need copious amounts of data for a short period of time.

There are two data package options available — Smart LTE Prime 50 and Prime 100. For Php50, Prime 50 gives users 1.5GB of open access data with a validity of 1 day. While the Php100 option, Prime 100, comes with 3GB of open access data, again with a 1 day validity.

The offering looks to favor heavy users who need at least 1.5GB of data allocation for short term projects. Its perfect for those who need to download heavy files and apps, for streaming music and videos, or for those who plan to stay connected the whole day doing various online activities. You can even use it on a hotspot-enabled phone, allowing friends and family to connect and consume.

Take note though, that the package does not include free access to Facebook or Messenger. Nor does it have allocation for YouTube, iflix or other streaming services.

To subscribe, text LTE50 or LTE1oo and send it to 9999. The services is available to Smart Prepaid and Postpaid subscribers.
