Vivo has set the date for the launch of the successors of the selfie phones V5 and V5+. The Vivo V7 and the Vivo V7+ are set to launch in India this coming September 7. The upcoming devices are expected to come with a FullView Display, featuring a near-bezel less design. These two will also be the first to carry 24MP selfie cameras.

Vivo has not released any official information about the devices, but there are rumors about what to expect. It is widely assumed that the Vivo V7 could come with a 5.5-inch Full HD display, with the more premium Vivo V7+ packing a bigger 5.7-inch screen. Moreover, the V7 could use a Snapdragon 630 SoC, and the V7+ the Snapdragon 653 SoC. Both are expected to have 4GB up to 6GB of RAM, and 64GB up to 128GB of storage. And since Oreo was just recently announced, both devices will likely come with Android Nougat. Bear in mind that these are merely assumptions and rumors, so take it with a healthy grain of salt.

Now regarding the prices, the Vivo V7 is estimated to have a SRP close to (or probably a bit higher than) the V5’s Php12,990. While the Vivo V7+ will be close in price to the V5 Plus’ SRP of Php19,990.

We have to wait till September 7 to find out more information about these devices. But we’re sure it will launch in the Philippines.
