Samsung launches yet another J-series device, the Galaxy J7+, in the Philippines. This is the second Galaxy smartphone that features dual cameras.

Priced at Php19,990, the Samsung Galaxy J7+ belongs in the upper end of midrange smartphones when it comes to pricing. The handset comes with a 5.5-inch full HD Super AMOLED display with the Always On feature. Clad in a durable aluminum, the phone is powered by a 2.39GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P20 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.
The phone’s highlight feature is its dual rear camera setup. A 13MP sensor with a f/1.7 lens is paired with a 5MP unit with an f/1.9 lens. Here, the second lens provides depth of field, blurring backgrounds and creating bokeh effects. This also allows users to re-focus a shot after it was taken. For selfie lovers, a 16MP shooter is available with a f/1.9 lens and an LED flash.
Rounding out the spec sheet, the Galaxy J7+ also has a 3,000 mAh battery, a fingerprint scanner in the Home Button, and Bixby.
The Samsung Galaxy J7+ will have a retail price of Php19,990. It will be available starting October 14, 2017 in Samsung Experience Stores and dealers nationwide. You can also get one at 0% interest for 9 months via Home Credit, or 0% interest for 12 months through credit cards.
