Nokia 6 (2018) announced; Features 5.5-inch display, updated processor

HMD officially announces the second generation Nokia 6. It features an updated processor, 4GB of RAM, and a 5.5-inch FHD display.

Nokia 6: Price, Specs

The second generation Nokia 6 features a 5.5-inch full HD display wrapped in a series 6000 aluminum unibody. It is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 630 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 32/64GB storage. The screen is topped with a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

As for the cameras, the rear sports a 16MP sensor with f/2.0 lens, PDAF, and a dual LED flash. The front uses an 8MP sensor with an f/2.0 wide-angle lens.

The phone is also equipped with a 3,000 mAh battery, a USB Type-C port, and stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Why it didn’t just come with Oreo is beyond me. It will be upgraded to Oreo though.

The Nokia 6 (2018) is currently on pre-order, sadly, not in the Philippines. The 32GB variant has a retail price of CNY 1499 (roughly Php12,000), while the 64GB at CNY 1,699 (roughly Php13,000). No news yet if or when it will available in the country.
