We received news that the Honor 10 is officially coming to the Philippines. The date is set on May 30, 2018. If you recall, the device was launched globally just last week.

The Honor 10 has a 5.84-inch full HD+ display with a 19:9 ratio. It is powered by a Hisilicon Kirin 970 octa-core processor, with an AI chip on board. The global unit came in two RAM/storage variants of 4GB/64GB and the 6GB/128GB. We don’t know which one we’ll see in the country, but chances are its the former.

In the camera department, the phone features dual rear cameras with a 16MP (f/1.8) color sensor, and a 24MP monochrome sensor. The front camera, on the other hand, packs a 24MP selfie shooter. The handset will also offer a portrait  mode with different lighting effects, similar to those found on the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro.

Moreover, the Honor 10 will run on EMUI 8.1, which is based on Android Oreo. It also has a 3,400 mAh battery with fast charging, a USB Type-C port, a front mounted fingerprint sensor, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Local pricing is yet to be revealed. We’re guessing it will be close to its global launch price of EUR 399 for the 4GB/32GB, or EUR 499 for the 6GB/128GB. This translates to around PHP 25,000 and PHP 31,000, respectively.
