Xiaomi Mi Pad 4

Xiaomi has always been known to offer bang-for-buck devices. Their latest announcement is no different. Enter the Mi Pad 4 – 8-inch tablet with a 16:10 ratio and a pocket friendly price tag.

The tablet comes with an 8-inch full HD+ IPS display with a 1920 by 1200 resolution and an unconventional 16:10 aspect ratio. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor paired with up to 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 64GB of storage.

Aside from the internals, the Mi Pad 4 is also equipped with a 13MP sensor for the rear, and a 5MP one for selfies.

The device does not have a fingerprint sensor, but relies on face unlock for security. The rest of its specs include dual microphones, stereo speakers, a 6,000 mAh battery, and MIUI 9 based on Android Oreo.

The Mi Pad 4 will come in two variants, namely Wi-Fi and LTE models.

The Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 will be available in China starting June 29, 2018. It is priced at CNY1,099 for the 3GB/32GB Wi-Fi, CNY1,399 for the 4GB/64GB Wi-Fi, and CNY1,499 for the 4GB/64GB LTE. Converted, thats PHP9,000, PHP11,500, and PHP12,300.

It was not mentioned if the tablet will be available outside of China. I’m hoping its released in the Philippines, considering the brand’s popularity in the country.
