Samsung Galaxy Note9 on August 9

Yup. The wait is about to end. Samsung has officially announced the launch date of the Samsung Galaxy Note9, the company’s next flagship. And its on August 9, 2018.

The special event will be held in New York City.

So what should we expect? We can assume the phone to pack Samsung’s Exynos 9810 processor for Europe and Asia, and the Snapdragon 845 for US and China markets. We could also see 6GB RAM and up to 256GB of storage. There are rumors of an 8GB / 512GB variant, but that remains to be seen.

The design will most likely remain unchanged with maybe subtle changes. Any radical change (such as an inclusion of an in-display fingerprint scanner) will probably be on next year’s Galaxy S10.

An improved S Pen should also be expected. The invitation image looks to highlight the stylus’ button. It also shows a gold color as well, suggesting the handset to feature the hue.

Don’t forget that most of these are rumors. Things could still change. We’ll find out if its true in August.

That’s it for now.
