More leaks about the specs of the Huawei Nova 3i have emerged, courtesy of Weibo. It looks like it will have the Kirin 710 processor after all.
Huawei Nova 3i processor
Initial reports mentioned the Nova 3i will come with a Kirin 659 processor, but recent leaks now confirms a newer Kirin 710 processor will be powering the mid-range device. The 710 makes sense as the newer SoC is built on the more modern 12nm process.
The leak also mentions GPU Turbo and 3D Qmoji. GPU Turbo is said to increase a phone’s Graphics Processing Efficiency, allowing it to run more graphics intensive games. Qmoji is the company’s version of Apple’s Animoji.
The leak also adds the phone to either have 4GB/128GB or 6GB/64GB variations. The combination is rather odd, but uncovered posters point to the former as the combination coming to the country.
The battery also seems to be smaller than first reported. The leaked image specifies a capacity of 3,340 mAh, rather than 3,650 mAh that was previously stated.
Some of the specs remain unchanged though. The Nova 3i will still have 16MP + 2MP dual rear cameras, and 24MP + 2MP selfie shooters.
