Here’s another feather on Huawei’s hat. The company’s Consumer Business Group recently announced that it has sold over 10 million Huawei P20 and Huawei P20 Pro units in the first five months since the phone launched last March.
The handsets rose in popularity thanks to its Leica camera setup and overall camera performance. The two were the first handsets to get a triple-digit score from DxOMark. Even now (at the time of writing), the P20 Pro still sits at number one on their list.
Last month, the P20 Pro was awarded EISA Best Smartphone 2018 -2019 by the Expert Imaging and Sound Association (EISA). The smartphone was praised for its combination of hardware, design, and optics; calling it the most advanced, innovative and technically superior smartphone ever.

To refresh your memories, the Huawei P20 and the P20 Pro feature octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 970 processors, 128GB of storage, and an NPU — a machine learning technology that learns user behavior and adjusts resources accordingly to achieve maximum performance.
The P20 Pro comes with a triple 40MP + 20MP + 8MP Leica camera setup, a 6.1-inch full HD+ OLED display, 6GB RAM, and a 4,000 mAh battery. The P20, on the other hand, has a dual 12MP+ 20MP Leica camera module, a 5.8-inch full HD+ display, 4GB of RAM, and a 3,400 mAh battery.
The Huawei P20 and the P20 Pro are available in the Philippines with a suggested retail price of PHP30,990 and PHP40,990, respectively.
