Home Credit Trade to Upgrade
To Home Credit’s credit, they enabled Filipinos across the nation to get their dream smartphones through affordable financing programs.
This time, the company introduced a new one that allows customers to swap their old smartphones and use it as downpayment for a newer gadget.
The program is called Trade to Upgrade, and it is now available in Home Credit partner stores nationwide.
To avail, just approach a Home Credit associate and present two (2) valid IDs. The application will then be assessed in 10 minutes time. If approved, the value of the smartphone to be traded will be evaluated, and will then be used as downpayment for a newer model.

The program can be used to finance smartphones priced at PHP3,000 to PHP60,000 for nine to twelve months. Buyers can also opt to add cash to the value of the mobile phone to be swapped.
All original smartphone brands and models are accepted, whether it’s damaged or working. Only one unit can be swapped per transaction. Cash can be added if the assessed value of the phone to be swapped is lower than the minimum downpayment amount.
