iPhone 4S Now Being Sold in Greenhills, 16GB Version Priced at P47,000

As expected, the Greenhills Shopping Center is now selling the iPhone 4S ahead of its official launch in the Philippines.  Greenhills is the place to go if you want to check out the newest gadgets.

There is still no official word from Apple when the iPhone 4S will be launching the Philippines although it is almost certain that Globe Telecom will once again be carrying the device.  If you want to be an early adopter and could not wait for Apple’s or Globe’s official announcement, you may want to check out the stores in Greenhills which are selling the iPhone 4S for the following prices:

  • iPhone 4S 16GB — P47,000
  • iPhone 4S 32GB — P50,000
  • iPhone 4S 64GB — P59,000

In my opinion these are way above the official retail prices for the iPhone 4S.  But surprisingly, there are some who don’t mind the price as long as they are able to claim that they are one of the first in the Philippines to own the new device.  I must tell you though that these units do not carry the one year official Apple warranty.  I was told by one of the sellers that she only offers a 5-day replacement warranty and a one-month service warranty.  The units come from Singapore, in case you want to know.

Caveat emptor.
