Nokia Asha 311 Now in the Philippines, Priced at P5,650

OPPO Reno12 F 5G Coming Soon

The Nokia Asha 311 may now be purchased in the Philippines.  The retail price, as the title already mentions, is P5,650.  That’s quite affordable considering the specs.  But before you decide if you want to get the Asha, there are also other alternatives in the market, Android handsets mostly, and some even offer dual-SIM features.  If Nokia is your thing though, the Asha Touch line offers a capable set of handsets.

The Nokia Asha 311 is just one of three Asha Touch handsets from Nokia that run its Series 40 operating system.  It has a 3-inch WQVGA capacitive touchscreen display and powered by a 1GHz processor that should translate to a fast enough performance.  It also has a 3.2-megapixel camera that’s not impressive enough but should also do if all you use camera for is post photos on Facebook.  The  256MB internal storage is expandable up to 32GB so that should take care of your storage needs.  The rest of the specs include 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity, FM radio, Bluetooth 2.1 and 1110 mAh battery.

Nokia Asha Touch interface is the center of the Asha 311’s rich mobile Internet experience.  The UI lets users easily access mobile internet through the Nokia Browser 2.0 that uses Nokia’s cloud technology to make Internet browsing up to twice as fast and 85% cheaper than with comparable browsers.  Cheaper since it allegedly uses less battery.

Nokia is smart enough to package the Nokia Asha 311 with loads of apps and games like Angry Birds, EA games including Tetris, Bejeweled, Need for Speed The Run and EA Sports FIFA 12. If you need more apps and games, you have access to the Nokia Store.  The Asha 311 is preloaded of course with social apps like Facebook and Twitter and messaging apps like WhatsApp.

The Nokia Asha 311 is available in Sand White, Blue, Dark Grey and Rose Red colors.
