Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 and 6.3 Announced

OPPO Reno12 F 5G Coming Soon

Samsung is obviously not afraid to try out different sizes for its smartphones.  Remember that the company single-handedly popularized the “phablet” category with the Galaxy Note, and now it seems that it’s trying to push the limit further by releasing the Galaxy Mega line of devices.

Samsung recently unveiled two new Galaxy Mega devices, the Galaxy Mega 5.8 and the Galaxy Mega 6.3.  These display sizes appear to be arbitrary, but in all likelihood, Samsung has a good reason to try these sizes.  The Galaxy Mega 6.3 is practically a tablet if we are to classify the same based on size alone.  The smallest tablets feature 7-inch displays, so at 6.3 inches, the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 is almost a tablet.  If you have small hands, it’s almost impossible to operate the Galaxy Mega 6.3 using just one hand.  It is also not difficult to imagine that this new smartphone will be difficult to store in a regular-sized pocket.  The Galaxy Mega 5.8 is just a tad bigger than the Galaxy Note so it’s probably easier to use and carry around compared to the 6.3-inch model.
