Gameloft recently released the trailer for its upcoming update to the Asphalt racing game series. The new version is called Asphalt 8: Airborne and it features flying cars, not in the literal sense of course. Cars go up in the air because of platforms and other objects like rocks. With these stuff, players have the ability to lift their cars when in high speed, just like how daredevils do it in stunts.
Asphalt 8: Airborne was featured on the new Nexus 7 (2013) to showcase the tablets’ capabilities. Asphalt 8: Airborne promises to offer with jaw-dropping console-grade graphics and fast gameplay.
Gameloft has improved the graphics of the game and it is now touted to be near console grade quality. According to Gameloft, the game uses a new realistic physics engine and now offers new game modes and a total of 180 events, with players having the ability to choose from up to 47 cars. Asphalt 8: Airborne supports simultaneous online multiplayer games.
Here is the new trailer for Asphalt 8: Airborne. It doesn’t say when the game will be available. It only says that the game is coming ‘very soon’.
